Hunter is nine months old and has survived two major heart surgeries. Hunter has been covered by insurance since birth. In fact, insurance has covered the majority of the expenses thus far. However, after two surgeries and nine months of doctor visits, Hunter has almost met his lifetime insurance limit of one million dollars. Hunter will need yet another open heart surgery and currently does not qualify for Social Security benefits, Medicaid, or any other government assistance programs. The Seth Foundation has funded some insurance deductibles and is currently working to raise funds to help Hunter and his family with the expenses that they will have to endure to ensure the health of their baby boy.
